Apologies in the appalling lateness of our blogging.... Due to a variety of things including delayed insurance claims, ongoing editing, a variety of online projects as well as Clare's wedding it has all been put off somewhat.... Eeeek - but as we proceed into the prep for our second Mull shoot we will en devour to keep you more up to date.
As was briefly mentioned The Sea Change has been bubbling away for the past few months in a number of capacities. Sam Speade has been continuing to work on editing the current material and is now eagerly awaiting the forthcoming Mull footage - The edit at the moment is looking great but we are keeping it closely to our chests until we are able to include more material.
Liz has been chasing insurance claims as well as wrangling the availability of the cast what with Natalie currently in the US and Colin splitting his time between France and Wales with the filming of the next series of Merlin it has been quite some feat.
Brek and Emily have been busy squeezing in another film "The Infidel' out in 2010 where they both had to wrangle a crew of over 200 extras in not so many minutes! and Clare has been finishing work on the vfx for The Wolfman (out feb 2010) aswell as getting married to the delicious editor Andy Hague! Wow what a summer!
So we are currently putting together the logistics of getting the cast and crew up to Mull in Mid October for the filming of scenes that just weren't possible the first time around. It has been nearly 10 months since the last trip up there and it will be interesting to see how the Island has changed. Hopefully for continuity's sake not too much!!
Oh yes and finally we have decided to go back to the original novel title 'The Island' for the final film so don't be alarmed or confused if we refer to both names whilst we go through the transition!
Thanks for your ongoing support.
